My name is Elyse Ryan Hartey. I was born in New York but grew up mostly in the
Poconos area of Pennsylvania. I come from a very artistic family and had always
loved traditional art and photography. I went to Indiana University of Pennsylvania
where I majored in Fine Arts.

After that I moved to Florida and was accepted into the College Program with the
Walt Disney World Company. I had heard about Full Sail through a friend and decided
to go on a tour. I was almost done with my internship at Disney but I wanted to go back
to school. So I signed up at Full Sail and started within a week. I graduated in 2006
with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Computer Animation with a focus on texturing
and lighting. Since I've graduated I've really started getting into photo retouching and
matte painting. When I'm not painting I like playing tennis and other various sports,
